Delete your YaarPool account

This page is for the YaarPool app, run by Jigar Dhulla. Here is how to delete your account and your data.

Delete it in the app

1. Open YaarPool and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

It happens right away.

Cannot open the app?

Write to privacy@yaarpool.com from the email you signed up with, and say "Delete my YaarPool account". We will do it within 30 days.

What we delete

• Your name and email.
• Your profile photo, company, job title and LinkedIn link.
• Your commute places and times.
• Your vehicle details.
• Your phone notification codes and all your sign-ins.
• Rides you host that have not happened yet are ended, and the people on them are told. Your seats on other upcoming rides are given up.

What we keep

• Rides and chat messages from the past stay, so other people's history still makes sense. They show you as "Deleted user", without your name or photo. The pick-up and drop-off places of past rides stay on the ride.
• Our database keeps backups for 7 days. Deleted data can stay in a backup for up to 7 days, and then it is gone.
