Terms
Last updated 24 October 2026
These are the rules for using YaarPool. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
YaarPool is run by Jigar Dhulla, an independent developer.
Who can use YaarPool
- You are 18 or older.
- You have one account, and the details in it are true.
- You keep your password to yourself.
What YaarPool is
YaarPool helps people who travel the same way find each other. It is not a taxi or transport company. A host is a private person making a trip anyway, and riders share the running cost of that trip.
YaarPool takes no cut of ride costs and never holds ride money. Any cost share is settled directly between the people on the ride.
Free now, a subscription later
YaarPool is free to use while we get started.
Later we plan to charge a flat subscription for using the app. If we do, we will tell you in the app first, and nothing is charged until you agree to it. If you do not want to pay, you can stop using YaarPool and delete your account.
The subscription is only for the app. It is separate from the ride cost share, and YaarPool never takes a cut of that.
Be safe and kind
- Hosts must have a valid driving licence, and a vehicle that is legal to drive and insured.
- Be on time, be respectful, and tell people if your plans change.
- Do not harass anyone, give false information, or use YaarPool for anything illegal.
- You are responsible for your own safety. Use your judgement before you ride.
If something goes wrong
We can remove an account that breaks these rules. You can delete your account at any time in the app. We do our best to keep YaarPool working, but we cannot promise it will always be available. YaarPool is not responsible for what happens on a ride, as far as the law allows.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and we will tell you in the app when it matters. These terms follow Indian law.
